Freelancers will have the chance to pitch their story ideas to editors of local news media outlets ranging from print and online. The format of the workshop, sponsored by the local chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association, is similar to speed dating, in which editors will sit at tables as freelancers move from one editor to the next to pitch their story ideas in five minutes.

The workshop will allow for freelancers to gain work while editors find fresh voices and ideas!

Participating media outlets include North County Times, Patch.com, Pacific San Diego Magazine, Pomerado News, San Diego CityBeat and The San Diego Daily Transcript.
