Media’s Impact on Public Policy: A forum on Wednesday, Feb. 15

A San Diego County Taxpayers Association breakfast forum featuring high-profile San Diego’s editors asks a series of questions: Is the changing media industry affecting public policy in San Diego? Is the media’s role informer, watchdog or advocate? Is transparency the new objectivity?

The panel includes 10News managing editor J.W. August, voiceofsandiego.org president Scott Lewis, U-T San Diego editor Jeff Light, KPBS Public Radio director of news and editorial strategy Suzanne Marmion and KUSI-TV owner and CEO Michael McKinnon. The moderator is Gayle Falkenthal.
