Perspectives from the Bench, Bar, and Media
Learn about the life cycle of a high-profile civil case, including issues related to sealing files, protecting confidential proprietary or trade secret materials, closed hearings, confidential settlements and more. Panelists will discuss both sides of a fictitious case and address the issues lawyers, judges, and media alike need to be aware of when cases arise with big business implications.

SPJ partners with Veterans History Project
The San Diego Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will be partnering with the Veterans History Project. Members are encouraged to volunteer in this ongoing project with the Library of Congress to collect and make accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans. After all, SPJ members are uniquely qualified to help our city’s veterans share and preserve their stories.
