SPJ San Diego announces its own economic stimulus package for local journalists!
SPJ will offer its two-hour workshop, “Spanish 101: Basic Spanish for Working Journalists,” for FREE this Saturday, May 9.
If you speak no Spanish or just want to brush up your Spanish skills and learn key phrases that are helpful for reporters, attend this workshop. The ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking sources is a valuable skill in our diverse community. Let SPJ – and two excellent instructors from Language Door – help you break the language barrier and expand your news reporting.

SPJ chapter members interested in running for one of the four open seats on the board of directors must declare their intent to run by this Friday, April 24 at 5 p.m. and provide bios of 200 words or less by Friday, May 1. Ballots will be mailed to all SPJ-SD chapter members in mid-May.
